| Date: 2005-08-02 11:06 a.m. I caused a guy to get a speeding ticket today. A guy who was driving his jacked up truck like it's a sport's car. I was turning the corner onto a street that has a 45 miles/hr speed limit. The guy behind me was very impatient, and pissed that my Ford Explorer was not designed to go from 0 to 45 in 3 seconds. So he decided to ride my ass for 2 seconds before he attempted to pass me. Because I'm considerate, I accelerated to make it more difficult for him to pass me. So he accelerated even more to an estimated speed of 60 miles an hour just so he could pass me in a timely manner (even though it's a 4-lane road). I, a perfect law abiding citizen, remained at 45 miles/hr when a cop came out of the municipal court parking lot and pulled the guy over. Patience, my son. |
