Well I went to Las Vegas this weekend with my parents, and my brother and his wife. I'm 21 now so my parents wanted to go somewhere so I could gamble and drink a lot. How awesome are they? Really awesome. That's how awesome. I won some money, about 30 bucks, mostly on slots. Went there with 80, came back with 110 and a Las Vegas shot glass.

I rather liked Las Vegas for the time I was there. My brother and I discussed how everone there looks like they have an agenda. Something they want to accomplish by the end of the day/week/month. Texas, on the other hand, is mostly just people who look like they want to get through their day. Another great thing about Las Vegas is you can drink pretty much anywhere. My brother and I were carrying beers for much of the time when we were walking through the various casinos, passing cops and smiling at them. Here are the most interesting pictures I took with my new digital camera:

Yeah. This is one of those walkways at the airport in Las Vegas that you stand on and it takes you somewhere, kind of like an escalator. It's for those people who have trouble going up 0 degree inclines. I don't know what they're called, but they make me laugh simply by existing. This one in particular was about 20 meters long and it really made me question the laziness of some people. My main point is this: C'mon people. Just, c'mon!

And now some crazy people with signs:

On our way to the Golden Nugget, we heard some people yelling. 2 women were holding up these signs and shouting, creating a big scene. Everyone just kind of passed them with "What the fuck?" looks on their faces. One of the shouters (the really ugly one) was yelling about how if you sin you'll go to hell: "If you do not repent, you will perish! All sinners will burn!"

Well this is news to me. If you sin, you go to a place called hell? What the hell is hell?

I wanted so badly for my brother to take a picture of me next to the shouting lady, while I smiled emphatically, holding a beer in one hand, along with a thumbs up. The shouters left by the time we came out of the Golden Nugget though. *tear*
